With the trend toward high-density office spaces, keeping computer work stations and telephones clean and sanitized is becoming a larger concern for many offices.

While certain areas of offices are more prone to bacteria such as door handles, elevator buttons, reception areas, phones, computer keyboards and mice, desks can often be the worst offenders.  A research study conducted by a microbiologist at the University of Arizona, Dr. Charles Gerba, found that an office desk can have almost 21,000 germs per square inch and phones has more than 25,000 germs per square inch.

ServiceMaster Clean Of St. John’s will work with you to provide a plan to clean computer keyboards, screens and telephone handsets to ensure all germs and bacteria are eliminated. The end result being a clean and healthy workplace for your staff.

We offer proprietary cleaning processes to keep your business running optimally, by effectively sanitizing and protecting computer and work stations.

In addition to dust accumulation that can damage a computer's delicate components, computers can be unhygienic hot spots for offices. Bacteria, viruses, skin flakes, oils and grime can collect on keyboards and monitor screens. Protect two of your most important assets—your employees and your computers—with regular cleaning by ServiceMaster Clean Of St. John’s.

Did you know?

Will the application process produce dust?

Procedures that are required to prepare the floor can be done with a wet screening and/or wet conditioning pad, thereby reducing dust.

Isn’t it hard to fix an area that is damaged? What if I drag a large piece of furniture across it and leave a gouge?

Urethane finish is relatively easy to repair. Call the professionals at ServiceMaster Clean Of St. John’s and let us repair the damaged area.

Are there instructions to follow after my hard-surface floors are cleaned?

Before you walk on your floors, it’s best to allow drying time of at least 4 hours but we recommend 8 hours. Be cautious and protect floors from getting wet for 24 hours after application of either finish as it is not yet thoroughly cured. You can return furniture to your floors (with suggested use of felt pads) after 24 hours and return rugs to floors after 24 hours.
