At ServiceMaster Clean of St. John’s we proudly employ several individuals from The Philippines.
As most of you know, much of The Philippines has been devastated by Typhoon Haiyan with thousands dead and injured with many more homeless. Many survivors have lost everything, including their homes.
As a sign of our compassion for who still live in this now devastated country, we are contacting you today in the hopes that you will join us in providing financial assistance to the relief efforts there. We encourage you to assist in any way that you are able to through whatever agency that you wish. As you know, The Canadian Red Cross has a wonderful reputation for disaster relief worldwide.
ShelterBox, a Rotary International partner, is a disaster relief charity that delivers emergency shelter, warmth and dignity to families affected by disaster worldwide. In its decade of existence, it has responded to 14 earthquakes, storms, flooding and conflict in the Philippines, and altogether over 200 disasters worldwide.
